RazKids (Reading Program)
RazKids is a website with many books at different levels, so that each student may read at the level that is most appropriate for him/her. I will be using RazKids in the class for some of my guided and paired reading. You may help students to log in to their individual accounts. To log in:
1. Follow this link.
2. Enter or choose the teacher's username: taasell
3. Let your child find his or her username on the class chart.
4. Let your child enter his or her password.
I stick individual log in cards into each student's blue folder. Please assist your child to memorize his/her password. If it is too easy, I will help them to change it.
NOTE: Please speak to your child about internet safety and respecting other students' privacy. Students are not allowed to log into other students accounts, even if permission was given to them by the student whose account it is. Failure to respect each other's privacy may result in the loss of online privileges.
IXL (Math Program)
IXL is our online Math learning program. Students can log in to IXL and work on their Math concepts at their own pace. This will not be used in class, but I recommend this for students to use at home.
