Hi parents,
My name is Michelle Yeh. Currently, I am the Learning Support teacher and Counselor in our school. Learning Support is a service designed to help our students who need extra help in class for academic, behavioral, and social interaction. Though the Learning Support service comes with additional charges, I am here, at no extra charge if you have any questions or concerns, or if you need advice. Please do not hesitate to contact me.
I am also the school counselor. Your child is welcome to come to my classroom at any time. When they face some challenges and need an extra listening ear besides their daddy, mommy and teacher, I am here for them and you.

My name is Ms. Purkiss. I am the EAL teacher for Grades 1-4. I am from Texas, but have been living overseas for many years. This is my second year teaching at TAAS.
In the first grade EAL class, I go into the classroom to work with the students who need extra support in learning English. The students stay in the classroom and do not have “pull out” classes. It is beneficial for the student to stay with their peers as they will progress more quickly.
